Donald Garrett Elected President of Virginia Parliamentarians Association

The election took place during the 66th annual convention in Richmond, Virginia on April 30, 2023, where Garrett’s election was unanimous. This position carries a two-year term.

Garrett’s election is a testament to his dedication and expertise in the field of parliamentary procedure. As President of VSAP, he will lead and represent the association in its mission to promote the principles and practices of parliamentary procedure in the Commonwealth of Virginia. VSAP is a state-level affiliate of the National Association of Parliamentarians, the international nonprofit which offers credentials in knowledge of Robert’s Rules of Order. Donald Garrett has served on the Board of Directors of VSAP since 2016, and is an active parliamentarian in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region.
