Donald Garrett Selected to Instruct Virginia School Boards

Richmond, Virginia – Professional Registered Parliamentarian Donald Garrett was chosen to instruct on Robert’s Rules of Order at a January 2023 conference of the Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA). Donald Garrett is the Principal of Last Minute Meetings.

“School Boards across Virginia work tirelessly to ensure the Commonwealth’s Constitutionally mandated goal of a free high quality education for all,” said Mr. Garrett. “A recent viral social media trend shows dysfunctional school board meetings. It was an honor to teach these public officials strategies for effective meetings and public engagement.”

VSBA (https://vsba.org) is a voluntary, nonpartisan organization of Virginia school boards who promotes excellence in public education through leadership, advocacy and services. Mr. Garrett instructed on parliamentary procedure at a New Board Members Orientation and the Chair/Vice-Chair Orientation held in Richmond, Virginia.
